Bandaloop Bumper was originally written for a documentary on the making of the IMAX film "Wild California," but was later thrown out for reasons of scene/script changes. Heavily steeped in the style of Cirque du Soleil, Mark Edward Lewis fashioned this piece to underscore professional dancers performing ballet on the cliffs of Yosemite's grandest rock monuments, suspended along their verticle slopes from ropes. Mark used his G4 500 SP for all recording and tracking for the piece, and he used Logic Audio Platinum for his sequencer/audio recorder. Mark is a film/TV/commercial composer who resides in Los Angeles, and whose music focuses on the hybrid use of synthesiser techno elements and the power of classical orchestral timbres.
